Day to Day Cycle Breakdown
Day 1
First day of bleeding. Estrogen is low, this can make you feel not your best. Day one or two are often the heaviest days of bleeding. Take it easy on yourself today.
Day 2
Today may be a heavier day of bleeding. Although hormones are still low, they are on the rise. While you may not feel your best, you are likely feeling better than you did yesterday. Take it easy.
Day 3
Bleeding continues, again, you may be feeling a little better than yesterday but still a little grumpy and irritable. Do something nice for yourself today. What always makes you feel good? Can you make time for this today?
Day 4
Blood flow is likely lighter today. Estrogen is rising so you may be feeling a bit happier today.
Day 5
Bleeding is likely much lighter or completely gone. Follicles are being stimulated and are growing larger.
Day 6
The most dominant follicle is growing as it prepares to be released as an egg. Bleeding is often finishing or finished.
Day 7
Estrogen is rising. You may be feeling back to your normal self today. Your egg is still growing.
Day 8
More estrogen is helping you to feel glowing and radiant.
Day 9
Increased estrogen is helping you to build a thicker lining in preparation for possible conception.
Day 10
Increased estrogen and uterine thickening are happening today. A nice home is being made for baby.
Day 11
Ovulation is very close. Because each cycle can change, it is safest to be are that you could be ovulating. If you are trying to conceive, it could be time to start trying. If you are not trying to conceive, be careful from here onwards.
Day 12
Your libido may be high today as your body encourages you to make a baby. Estrogen levels are high today. This can make you feel quite good.
Day 13
Estrogen is peaking and an egg will be released very soon. Estrogen will drop rapidly after ovulation.
Day 14
Hello Ovulation!
The dominant follicle has released an egg and its time for its journey down the fallopian tube. Your egg will live for approximately 12-24 hours. Keep in mind, sperm can survive for three to five days.
Day 15
The luteal phase begins. Your inner Autumn has begun. Your uterus lining is even thicker. Your egg is continuing its journey along the fallopian tubes.
Day 16
An increase in progesterone today. Your egg is still traveling along the fallopian tube.

Egg travel continues. Estrogen and progesterone are on the rise. Estrogen can cause your breasts to feel large and sore.
